Lightning Bolt reached number one on the Billboard chart. Pearl Jam released their tenth album, “Lighting Bolt” in 2013. Pearl Jam stopped playing to calm down the crowd, but it was too late, because the nine fans were already crushed to death. The tour ended in tragedy when nine fans were crushed to death as fans rushed to the front of the stage. The album, “Vs.” sold nearly a million copies in just the first week that it was released. Pearl Jam released their second album in 1993. The songs, “Alive”, “Jeremy”, and “Even Flow” became hit singles from the album “Ten”. The album was named after a jersey worn by Mookie Blaylock. Pearl Jam debuted their first album in 1991, which was called, “Ten”. Pearl Jam’s band members include Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Eddie Vedder, and Mike McCready. They soiled the 90s Seattle Scene with their sound, get some Nirvana or Alice In Chains if you want intellegent, well-written music that has meaning. Pearl Jam, among the wrong class to be fairly rated Remove if not true. Seems only a microcosm of the Sea-Tac movement was. ps Matt, youre a saint for trying, besides Cornell isnt worried about losing his craftmanship by losing a jam-mate. Get it and see, also I just put in my order for "Vs."! My favorite songs on "Ten" are "Black" and "Jeremy", but the whole album is worth many listens. I like Nirvana better, but Pearl Jam and Nirvana are so different its almost ignorant to seriously compare them. One of what at least I consider to be the "big four" of grunge: "Nevermind" by Nirvana "Ten" by Pearl Jam "Dirt" by Alice In Chains "Badmotorfinger" by Soundgarden In that order. The music is amazing, This is the only CD where I can just sit down and listen to the whole thing. This CD is by far the best CD I have ever listened to. Anyone who loves hard charging rock and roll needs this in their collection
